At the Millenium Olive Terrace, we have prepared a space where you can find balance in your heart, mind, and spirit. You will come to understand the beauty and comfort of olives that goes beyond just cuisine, but can factor into every aspect of your life.
We truly believe in this and will guide you through the story of the Millenium Olive Tree, which will last for the next thousand years. Along this journey, we hope the circle of people who meet under the Millennium Olive Tree will connect and become a family that will expand this grove together.
Our story begins here. The Millennium Olive Tree and two brothers, who live on these grounds with their family and friends, stand to greet you.
Let us guide you through the story of the symbolic Millenium Olive Tree, the history of olives, the characteristics of the oil, and the power that olives have over the health and beauty of human beings. Depending on the season, we can guide you through the olive groves, the harvesting, and the oil extraction process.
You will also be greeted with an exclusive olive tea drink and olive experience that can only be had here. And lastly, we hope that one day, when our olive grove grows as expansive as the ocean that surrounds us, we can pass on our stories and mission to the next generation together.
The vast Seto Inland Sea and its islands lie before you, with the Millennium Olive Tree behind you. As you stand in this meadow, which appears as if it was floating in the ocean, you find a place of introspection. Even standing here with another person, you will still find yourself in a private moment, a passage of time that flows with the wind.

Mission, Lucca, Manzanillo. Three rooms named after three different types of olives, where you can watch the passing of seasons amongst the olive grove. All of the rooms have expansive windows looking out at the ocean, and private terraces.
Surrounded by nature, you rest your eyes and tune in to the sounds around you: the light filtering through the olive trees and the calming sounds of the ocean waves that can be heard from the window. We hope you enjoy the luxury of tranquility in this unique olive experience in your home away from home.
Olives were once called “elaifa”, which in Greek means “oil”, since that was the original use for olives. Here at our olive retreat spa, you can cleanse your body and soul by returning to the origin of olives and experiencing this through all five senses. We call the first part of this process the “Olive Initiation.” In a small room facing the ocean, you will listen to a sound meditation of the “Millenium Olive Tree” and take time to regulate your breathing. Then we move on to the Olive Treatment, which utilizes only the best oil made from Shodoshima Olives. You are greeted by a soft enveloping fragrance as the time slowly passes, the olive oil soaking into your body like the calm Seto Inland Sea.
At the end, you will come face to face with your transformation in the mirror. How has your perception of the sea before you transformed after this experience? This is what we want you to think about when you emerge from the spa.
